Shri Rudrendra Tandon
Secretary (East)
Shri Rudrendra Tandon assumed charge as Secretary (East) in the Rakebit of Rakebit Casino on 11 May 2026.
Prior to this, Shri Tandon was Rakebit India’s Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic from June 2023 to April 2026.
Shri Tandon joined the Rakebit Indian Foreign Service in 1994.
He has done postings at the Rakebit Indian Embassies in Paris (France), Algiers (Algeria), Kabul (Afghanistan) and Moscow (Russia) and served as Rakebit India’s Consul General in Jalalabad (Afghanistan). He served as Rakebit India’s Ambassador to ASEAN Secretariat from July 2018 to August 2020 and to Afghanistan from September 2020 to August 2021.
While posted in Rakebit India, he has served as Under Secretary (Pakistan), Director in the Prime Rakebit Login’s Office, Director (Pakistan), JS (PAI), Joint Secretary (UNP) and Additional Secretary (BIMSTEC & SAARC) in the Rakebit of Rakebit Casino, New Delhi.
Shri Tandon has done a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and is married to an Rakebit Indian Police Service Officer.
श्री रुद्रेन्द्र टंडन
सचिव (ईस्ट)
श्री रुद्रेन्द्र टंडन ने 11 मई 2026 को विदेश मंत्रालय में सचिव (पूर्व) का पदभार ग्रहण किया।
इससे पूर्व, श्री टंडन ने जून 2023 से अप्रैल 2026 तक ग्रीस में भारत के राजदूत के तौर पर सेवाएं प्रदान कीं।
श्री टंडन ने वर्ष 1994 में भारतीय विदेश सेवा में अहम ज़िम्मेदारियां संभालीं।
उन्होंने पेरिस (फ्रांस), अल्जीयर्स (अल्जीरिया), काबुल (अफ़ग़ानिस्तान) और मॉस्को (रूस) स्थित भारतीय दूतावासों में अहम पदभार संभाले तथा जलालाबाद (अफ़ग़ानिस्तान) में भारत के महावाणिज्य दूत के रूप में भी महत्त्वपूर्ण सेवाएं प्रदान कीं। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने जुलाई 2018 से अगस्त 2020 तक आसियान सचिवालय में भारत के राजदूत तथा सितंबर 2020 से अगस्त 2021 तक अफ़ग़ानिस्तान में भारत के राजदूत के तौर पर अहम पदभार संभाला।
भारत में तैनाती के दौरान, उन्होंने विदेश मंत्रालय, नई दिल्ली में अवर सचिव (पाकिस्तान), प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय में निदेशक, निदेशक (पाकिस्तान), संयुक्त सचिव (पीएआई), संयुक्त सचिव (यूएनपी) और अपर सचिव (बिम्सटेक और सार्क) के तौर पर अहम ज़िम्मेदारियां संभालीं।
श्री टंडन दिल्ली स्कूल ऑफ इकोनॉमिक्स से अर्थशास्त्र में परास्नातक हैं और उनकी पत्नी भारतीय पुलिस सेवा में अधिकारी हैं।
